Dr. Tomasso is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been practicing Family Medicine in South Jersey since 2001. Dr. T was featured in the August issue of South Jersey Magazine Top Physicians 2007! She was also honored to receive the Patient's Choice Award 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011! In 2010, Dr. Tomasso also received a Most Compassionate Doctor Award.
During her residency in Abington, Pennsylvania, Dr. Tomasso served as a Team physician for the Jenkintown School District, as well as Coordinator and Educator for the Jenkintown High School Health Lectures. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ-RWJMS) where she received the Dean's Award for Excellence. Dr. Tomasso was President of the Boricua Latino Health Organization- SALUD and served on the Medical Student Leadership Committee.
A Dean's List student, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Rutgers College at Rutgers University, with a minor in Spanish Literature. Dr. Tomasso is fluent in Spanish y le encanta la cultura.
Dr. Tomasso is invloved with academic medicine at Temple University Medical School. She participates as a clinical professor for medical students. She is an Associate Staff Member at Virtua Hospital Systems and maintains Courtesy privelidges at Underwood Memorial Hospital. Dr. T is also the Facility Attending Physician for Bellmawr Senior Housing Independent Living Community.
Dr. T's special interests include Community Outreach, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Sports Medicine. She remains an avid basketball and softball player, since the times of her All-South Jersey First Team honors in 1990. She also enjoys travel, music, biking, and spending time with her husband and family.
